Invitation to Tender - Drinking Water Filtration System Project
Attention Contractors
The Corporation of Village of McBride invites tenders for a pre-packaged drinking water filtration plant to address elevated turbidity levels during large storm events and spring freshet. The new drinking water filtration plant will be installed at 2870 Lucille Mountain Forest Service Road, McBride, BC. The plant will be situated adjacent to the existing reservoir and treatment plant and tied into the existing system prior to the treatment plant. Major works components include:
- Design and construction services required to provide a pre-packaged drinking water filtration plant to treat the raw water to meet the current Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality and Northern Health requirements.
- Provide control and alarm systems, monitoring system turbidity and other critical parameters/set points and incorporate into the Village’s existing control system.
- Provide services for shipping, on-site engineering, commissioning, startup support, warranty inspection, operator training, and technical support for operators.
- Conduct site visit to verify the actual site conditions, and to supplement available information.
- Provide area in the plant for water testing and sampling desk, including; sink, hot and cold domestic water, eyewash and shower, storage spaces for test equipment, and spare parts.
- Fulfill the functional requirements detailed in this RFP and Appendix-C containing following parts;
- Part-A: Commissioning requirements
- Part-B: Design submission requirements
- Part-C: O&M manual requirements
- Part-D: Technical requirements
Tenders must:
- be submitted in a sealed envelope
- indicate the Project No. and Contract Title as: “Project # 403-039-03: Drinking Water Filtration System Project”
- be addressed to Attn: Phil Strain
- be received at the Village of McBride office at Box 519 100 Robson Centre 855 SW Frontage Road, McBride, BC, V0J 2E0 by no later than 3:00 p.m. local time, October 10, 2025.
Late tenders will not be accepted or considered and will be returned unopened.
