Community Futures Fraser Fort George
Community Futures is a community-based economic renewal initiative, established by the Federal Government in 1985. Their main objectives are to help rural Canadians start or expand a business and to help sustain and improve communities and their local economies.
Community Futures Fraser Fort George serves Prince George, Mackenzie, and the Robson Valley, including the Village of McBride, with programs, workshops, lending and coaching.

Workshops
Community Futures regularly hosts in-person and online workshops and training sessions in the Robson Valley in support of business development, often partnering with the Village of McBride.

Community Futures Fraser Fort George has loaned over $27.5 million to businesses across our region. Community Futures’ loan funds help support small businesses in our region when traditional lenders are unable to.
Community Futures provides business loans for start up or purchase.

Since 1986, Community Futures has been helping small businesses throughout the Fraser Fort George Region. During the past 34 years, they have authorized loans totalling more than $30.6 million to over 773 businesses, creating or maintaining over 3,412 jobs.
