As part of the PreparedBC resource library, Emergency Management BC has developed a new Household Emergency Plan. This 12 page resource provides British Columbians with useful planning tips and a ‘fill in the blank’ template to create their own household emergency plan. The attached document is designed to either be filled out electronically or by hand and printed on standard 8.5x11 paper.
A household emergency plan is a critical step to household and neighbourhood preparedness. For more information on PreparedBC and to see all of the available resources, please visit: http://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/safety/emergency-preparedness-response-recovery/preparedbc
We have the PreparedBC Household Prepareness Guides and Basic Emergency Kit Contents Cards available to residents at the Village Office. Stop by and pick yours up during regular office hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
