Emergency Social Services Program

Needs Volunteers!!

In an emergency event where people are displaced from their homes, Emergency Social Services activates support services, and aides Local Government by;

  • Working with local businesses, service organizations and government agencies;
  • Housing and feeding people forced from their homes;
  • Providing services to people who are unable to leave their homes; and
  • Supporting other emergency responders.

We are currently looking for 2 motivated, well organized volunteers to become trained as ESS Co-Directors.

Duties would include; Management of all ESS volunteers, Coordination of Group Lodging and Reception Centre facilities, as well as taking over the general administration of the ESS Program once established.  All training is provided, and volunteers will be registered with EMBC as Public Safety Lifeline Volunteers.
