Mayor Martin, Council members, and staff are pleased to welcome Cheryl Martens as the new Chief Administrative Officer for the Village of McBride.
Cheryl has worked in rural and urban municipal governments in Saskatchewan for over 18 years and brings a wide range of skills to the Village. She has a Bachelor of Arts (History Major) and numerous certificates in Local Government Management from the University of Regina.
Cheryl thanks Council for the opportunity to work as the Village’s new CAO and states, “It’s exciting to work with a Council that emphasizes team work principles and with employees that are professional, dedicated, and take pride in their work. My goal is to support Council in their vision of pursuing economic development for McBride and surrounding areas. “
Cheryl enjoys the outdoors and looks forward to exploring the many attractions available in the Robson Valley. She also looks forward to meeting and getting to know local residents, so please stop in at the Village Office and say Hello.
